Careers Events & EXPO
At Ashlyns, we believe that career exploration starts early. Our comprehensive programme is designed to give students in Year 7-13 vital insights into potential pathways including technical education qualifications and apprenticeships.
Throughout the academic year, we bridge the gap between education and industry through a dynamic schedule of events. Our programme focuses on:
Hands-on Industry Exposure: We take learning beyond the classroom with visits and workshops including curriculum-led trips to Sky Studios, Silverstone and Cisco.
Sector-Specific Insights: From Engineering and STEM to Film, Finance and International Development, our students hear directly from leading professionals including representatives from British Airways, Sony UK, the BBC, JP Morgan Chase and the London Stock Exchange.
Pathways to Success: Whether students are considering university, apprenticeships or further education, we organise assemblies and events with local colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers.
Essential Skill Building: We prepare students for the future with practical workshops focusing on key employability skills including mock interviews and CV writing, ensuring every student is prepared for their next steps.
