A-Level Results

Excellent results were being celebrated by many students at Ashlyns School this morning, with many students awarded the outstanding results needed for their first choice of university.

Amongst those celebrating, pictured below, were Conall Brown, who gained straight A* grades in all subjects to read Politics and International Relations at Warwick University; and Emma Jones, who is bound for Balliol College, Oxford to read English Literature.

Headteacher James Shapland said:

Once again, it has been a privilege to work with so many wonderful young people through their formative years, and to celebrate with them today the outstanding results that they have studied so hard to achieve over the last 7 years at Ashlyns.  I would like to extend our best wishes to them as they embark upon the next exciting chapter in their lives and thank them for their contributions to the life of the school.  I would also like to thank staff, parents and Governors for all their work to ensure Ashlyns continues to create opportunities for all to excel, and produce well-rounded, confident students who have such a wide range of choices for their future careers.
