End of Term ‘bubble’ based assemblies have taken place this week and, throughout December, we have enjoyed the beautiful Christmas trees donated by Christmas Tree Place and decorated by our Sixth Form students.
Normally, at this time of year, we welcome our local senior citizens to a carol concert in the Chapel followed by tea in the Hall. Our students enjoy performing, cooking and chatting to our guests – this event, and our summer tea, are real highlights for many. As we could not hold the event this year, our Year 7 students designed personalised Christmas cards to let our neighbours know we are thinking of them and that we look forward to seeing them soon.
