Champion of Young Chef Competition

Wednesday night saw the return of the Dacorum Rotary Young Chef Competition with the finals hosted by Kings Langley School. 13 students representing their school’s battled it out to be the top chef of the night and the standard was certainly high – with an impressive array of wonderfully cooked and beautifully presented dishes. The overall winner on the night was our very own Jessie in Year 10, who served up an amazing risotto with parmesan crisps and wild mushrooms followed by a truly impressive berry pavlova. The Judges were very impressed with Jessie’s dishes and commented specifically on the quality of the textures and seasoning, something that can prove tricky without the added pressure of a competition! Well done Jessie! Mr Nicholson.
