For GCSE we follow the Edexcel course which offers a balance of human and physical topics.  Both GCSE and A Level students engage critically with real world issues and places. 

Fieldwork is integral in both KS4 and KS5 and, as well as fieldwork on the extensive school grounds, regularly includes trips to Barton on Sea, Bournemouth, Swanage, Central London, Barcelona and Iceland.

 

 

Ashlyns is a popular and oversubscribed school with in excess of 1500 students including a growing and successful Sixth Form.  The school was confirmed ‘Good’ by Ofsted in September 2023 with an ‘Outstanding’ Sixth Form provision.  View our Ofsted report here
