We are delighted to announce that Ashlyns School’s 2020 Team have won the ‘SuperDragons Special Award’ in the Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge. This annual enterprise challenge, organised by Community Action Dacorum, offers Year 12 students the opportunity to establish and run a business, gaining job related skills and learning about the work and beneficiaries of their designated charity. It brings together partners in business (Dragons) and local schools (Apprentices). Apprentices are tasked with turning £100 in £1000, or more, for their designated charity.
Working with EIC Insurance and the Hospice of St Francis, the key skills of adaptation and agility shone through the Ashlyns Apprentices’ final report and event, earning them this special award. Congratulations to all of our Apprentices.
