Ashlyns School Association (ASA)
The ASA is run by parents of Ashlyns’ pupils and plays a crucial role: providing help and support for the aims of the School, ensuring co-operation between School and Home and helping our young people grow into responsible citizens. In practical terms, this means supporting School events in whatever way possible and raising funds that can then be used to enhance the School environment.
Please use the links below to find further information about us and our forthcoming events.

ASHLYNS SPORTS FUND PRIZE DRAW
Just over £3 a month (£40 a year) gets you into this monthly prize draw, with extra bonus prizes in July and December – but you have to be in it to win it! Click here for more information!
SUPERMARKET VOUCHERS
If you shop at Sainsburys, Tesco or Waitrose read on, as this is an ideal way to raise funds for School, which is hassle free - at no extra cost to you! The School receives commission of between 2.5% and 8% (Waitrose) just by selling their supermarket vouchers to you, and therefore guaranteeing your business to that particular supermarket. It’s that simple! Click here for more information
VOLUNTEER
The work of the ASA relies heavily on the contribution of parents. Please sign up if you can assist at one or more of our forthcoming events – no experience necessary! The same form can be used if you would like to join the ASA: it is a great way of becoming involved in the school and of meeting fellow parents. Click here for more information.
DONATE/GIFT AID
A gift aid declaration form and also a standing order mandate are both attached - click here
EASY FUNDRAISING
Something new! This is similar to the supermarket vouchers scheme in that it costs you nothing, but is aimed at people who shop online at such stores as: Amazon, M&S, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, Vodafone, eBay, Boden and Play.com. If that is you, please click here to find out more.
UNIFORM RE-SALE
If you have any outgrown uniform please hand it in at Reception - throughout the year – and we will prepare it for re-sale. Please do not worry about the state of it - we can repair linings, remove paint marks, sew up seams, and if it is really beyond hope we will at least recycle buttons etc.
EASY2NAME LABELS
If you are buying labels for school equipment or uniform please consider using Easy2name labels - www.easy2name.com. The labels are clear, durable, dishwasher and washing machine proof, and the company offers a fast and efficient postal service. Best of all, if you click on Ashlyns School HP4 when you make your online purchase, the school receives a commission of 20%.
SCOOPS
Scoops ice-cream parlour and coffee bar (in Lower Kings Road) have introduced a loyalty card. For every 8 purchases, you will get one item free and at the same time, they will send £2 to school funds. They are also introducing new after school menus, an ice cream happy hour and half price coffee refills from 7.30am – midday Monday – Friday. If you would like a loyalty card they are available at the school reception area in the leaflets stand – please do help yourself or send your child along!
